The original 18 holes have a parkland layout, whereas the 9 new holes have a links layout - a wonderful mix of tree-lined fairways and challenging and visually spectacular water features, all leading to large greens. The course with its beautifully manicured rye grass fairways, bent grass greens, fescue grass rough and constant backdrop of blue-grey mountains, is visually spectacular. Even in the height of summer these grasses retain their brilliant colour. Practice facilities comprise a driving range and putting green. The clubhouse, currently housed in one of the show houses, is quite small but stylish and incorporates a bar, restaurant, halfway house and Pro Shop. The club is closed on Mondays, but open from 07h30 on all other days. Golf carts, trolleys and clubs are available for hire. Visitors are welcome, but booking is essential.
